VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of four leases totaling 43,395 square feet of retail space. Negotiations were handled through the Virginia Beach, Virginia, office of DRE.
Jollibee renewed its lease for a 35,500-square-foot outparcel at the Divaris-leased and -managed Brenneman Farm located at 4540 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. Jollibee endears itself to the Filipino communities and locals wherever it operates by offering quality, great-tasting food and friendly customer service with a warm and homey ambiance.
Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant leased 3,200 square feet of retail space Brenneman Farm shopping center, as well. Las Palmas bring with every bite the romance of the Mexican flavor. Serving Mexican cooking that reflects the culture, the people and years of experience in every recipe. Levi Thomson of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, Brenneman Farm Retail Associates, LLC, in both of the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Harris Teeter, Petco, Marshalls, Dunkin’ Donuts, Kumon, Leslie’s Pools and Primo Pizzeria.
Mooyah Burgers Fries Shakes leased 2,395 square feet of retail space in Settlers Market at New Town located at 1 Settlers Market Boulevard in Williamsburg, Va. Erica Rorrer of DRE’s Virginia Beach office represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, CPT Settlers Market, LLC. This is the second location for the fast-casual hamburger restaurant on the Virginia Peninsula. Rorrer also represented the retailer in its lease at Marketplace at Tech Center in Newport News.
Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings renewed its lease for 2,300 square feet of retail space in the Divaris leased Academy Crossing Shopping Center located at 3270 Academy Avenue in Portsmouth, Va. LabCorp operates a sophisticated laboratory network, with corporate headquarters in Burlington, NC, and more than 48,000 employees worldwide. Its 220,000 clients include physician offices, hospitals, managed care organizations, and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. DRE’s David Bickford represented the landlord, Midlantic Builders VA, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
