VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Michael B. Divaris, president of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced that Mythics, Inc. has leased 39,000 square feet of office space in 4525 Main Street in Town Center of Virginia Beach. The company will occupy the top floor of the building and the majority of the eighth floor.
Mythics is an award-winning Oracle systems integrator, consulting firm, managed services provider and platinum-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork representing Oracle product lines across cloud, software, support, hardware, engineered systems and appliances. Mythics delivers technology solutions for the federal, state and local government, commercial, higher education, utilities and healthcare sectors.
“Mythics looked in Northern Virginia and other cities in Hampton Roads but decided to settle in Virginia Beach in 4525 Main Street because of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) status; the live, work, play environment and the synergy with all the other businesses in the Town Center of Virginia Beach,” said Vivian Turok, senior vice president of Divaris Real Estate.
Vivian Turok was retained by Mythics to represent them in their search for new corporate headquarters. Michael Divaris and Divaris Vice President Krista Costa represented the landlord, TCA Block 11 Office, LLC. Town Center of Virginia Beach is leased and managed by Divaris Real Estate and Divaris Property Management Corp.
“Mythics, as a leading technology firm, is an ideal addition to the Town Center’s newest LEED Silver certified office tower,” according to Michael Divaris. “With 4525 Main Street now 95 percent occupied, we are dusting off the plans for the next office tower and will look for another quality corporate tenant,” Divaris said.
The Town Center of Virginia Beach’s office complex currently comprises seven buildings with a total of 900,000 square feet of Class A office space. Over the past year, the office leasing activity at Town Center has exceeded 80,000 square feet.
“We considered multiple options, but Virginia Beach was the choice that most closely matched our corporate needs,” Mythics founder Mike Hillier explained. “Town Center provides our business a campus environment that reflects our values and professionalism and provides a wealth of options for our employees and guests.”
Mythics will relocate 143 full-time employees to the new corporate headquarters, and expansion plans project the creation of an additional 30 full-time positions.
