RICHMOND, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of nine transactions totaling 29,978 square feet and 5.42 acres of sold and leased commercial space throughout central Virginia.
Sales Transactions
Hibbett Sports, Waynesboro Town Center, Waynesboro, VA
Halle Properties, LLC purchased 1.12 acres of land located at 12030 Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond, from The Alexander Family Trusts, for $830,000. The land will be used for the development of a Discount Tire store. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the seller in the transaction. The property is an outparcel of Bermuda Crossroads, a Food Lion and Office Max anchored shopping center that is managed by Divaris Property Management Corp. Other outparcels to the center include Bojangles, Sonic Drive-in, iHop and O’Charley’s restaurant and bar.
Thakor Family Enterprises, LLC purchased 4.3 acres of land at the Village at Swift Creek located at 4750 Craig Rath Boulevard in Midlothian, Va. for $670,000 from BT Rath Boulevard, LLC. Brett McNamee and Debbie Wake represented the seller in the negotiations.
Lease Transactions
Soles4Souls leased 7,000 square feet of industrial space located at 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond. This will be a new location for the non-profit company. The property is a former A&P Distribution Center. Nestle and Walmart are also located in Building 2. Cheryle Toy represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.
Werner Enterprises leased 6,327 square feet of office space in the Bank of America building located at 2601West Broad Street in Richmond. Eric Hammond represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.
Wood & Iron Gameday Restaurant and Bar leased 5,217 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Scott’s Addition property located at 1403 Roseneath Road in Richmond. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. This is the second location for Wood & Iron in Richmond. The owners also own Flyin’ Pig Backyard Grill and Asado.
Business Cashflow Solutions leased 2,583 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Fountain Park located at 9327 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. Eric Hammond, Laikyn Severson and John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Far Soltanian Family Dentistry leased 2,100 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Meadowdale Office Park located at 4121 North Meadowdale Boulevard in North Chesterfield, Va. John Madures represented both the tenant and the landlord in the lease transaction.
Virginia Nurses Association leased 1,751 square feet of office space located at 2819 North Parham Road in Henrico, Va. Eric Hammond and Dean Foster represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Lease Extension
Hibbett Sporting Goods extended its lease for 5,000 square feet in the Divaris-leased Waynesboro Town Center located at 740 Town Center Drive in Waynesboro, Va. Ali McCrickard, Brett McNamee and Laikyn Severson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Waynesboro Town Center include: Ross Dress for Less, Michael’s, PetSmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works, LOFT, America’s Best and Rack Room Shoes.
