RICHMOND, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of nine transactions totaling 24,575 square feet of commercial property in the metropolitan Richmond, Virginia market.
Lease Transactions
Casa del Barco leased 5,800 square feet of retail space in Short Pump Town Center located at 11800 West Broad Street in Richmond. DRE’s Brett McNamee represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. This will be the third Casa del Barco location in Richmond, owned by HOUSEpitality Family restaurant group.
Soles4Souls leased 4,237 square feet of office/warehouse space located at 1733 Summit Avenue in Richmond. Cheryle Toy and Read Goode handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Soles4Souls collects new and used shoes and redistributes them through direct donations to people in need and through micro-enterprise partners. Since 2006, they have distributed over 30 million pairs of shoes to people in 127 countries.
Scoop leased 2,440 square feet of retail space in the Former Video Fan building located at 403 Strawberry Street in Richmond. Goode and Toy negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord. Scoop is a bakery and ice cream retail operation.
Ali Medical Transport leased 1,946 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Fountain Park located at 9321-9327 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. Eric Hammond and John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Handcraft Building
Ferguson Enterprises leased 1,844 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Handcraft Building located at 1501 Roseneath Road in Richmond. Ferguson Enterprises, headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, is the largest plumbing wholesaler in North America and the major distributor of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and industrial products and services. Smither & Company leased 1,205 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Handcraft Building located at 1501 Roseneath Road in Richmond. Ferguson and Smither join Fahrenheit, Hazen & Sawyer Engineers, 510 Architects, and Vasen Brewery in the Handcraft Building. Goode and Toy represented the landlord in both lease negotiations.
Emmanuel E. Gayot leased 595 square feet of retail space for a barber shop in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7214 Hull Street Road in Richmond. Sara Goodall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Lease Renewals
Padilla’s Four renewed its lease for 3,308 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7128 Hull Street Road in Richmond. Sara Goodall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations with the Mexican restaurant.
Ruby Nails and Spa renewed its lease for 3,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Stonewall Square located at 6300 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Mechanicsville, Virginia. DRE’s Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
