VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of two leases, totaling 24,357 square feet of retail space. DRE’s Richmond office handled both of the lease transactions.
CORT Furniture leased 11,422 square feet at 1207 North Boulevard. This is a relocation from a smaller store on West Broad Street, to serve the ever-growing community of Scotts’ Addition. CORT offers a variety of services including office, student, home and international furniture rentals, relocation services and apartment searches. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, BHL, LLC, by Brett McNamee.
AutoZone renewed its lease for 12,935 square feet at the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7222 Hull Street Road. AutoZone is the second-largest retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories in the United States. Other tenants in the shopping center include Rite Aid, Dollar General, Jackson Hewitt and Subway. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, 360 West Shopping Center, by Sara Goodall.
