RICHMOND, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of four leases totaling 11,187 square feet of retail space in central Virginia.
Taste Unlimited leased 5,125 square feet of retail space in Westhampton on Grove located at 5706 Grove Avenue in Richmond. Founded in 1973, Taste is Virginia’s leading family-owned and operated specialty food experience, with seven locations throughout the Hampton Roads region. DRE’s Sezin Cortinas represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, Westhampton, LLC. Cortinas represents the retailer in its search for new sites throughout Virginia.
CycleBar leased 2,542 square feet of retail space in The Row at GreenGate on West Broad Street in Short Pump, Virginia. Cyclebar is a franchise stationary cycling studio that will offer CycleTheatre that incorporates lighting, sound and video into class rides. DRE’s Sara Goodall and Elizabeth Greer represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, ME Nuckols, LLC. Other tenants in the property include Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom and The Daily Kitchen and Bar.
Select Physical Therapy Holdings leased 2,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 5th Street Station located at 250 Merchant Walk Avenue in Charlottesville, Va. Select Medical, based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of specialized healthcare, encompassing three areas of expertise: long-term acute care hospitals, outpatient physical rehabilitation, and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. Erica Rorrer, Mary McGovern, Zach Means and Larry Agnew of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord, 5th Street Station Ventures, LLC, in the lease negotiations. 5th Street Station, a 465,000-square-foot shopping center under construction on 72 acres will include the following tenants: Wegmans, Field & Stream, Haverty’s Furniture, A.C. Moore, PetSmart, Timberwood Tap House, Panera Bread, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Hand & Stone and Red Mango.
Heritage Glass and Tobacco leased 1,520 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Coyner Park Shopping Center located at 115 Lucy Lane in Waynesboro, Va. The retail tobacco store joins Batteries Plus, Virginia ABC, Sweet Frog, EBF Smokehouse, A Little Something Sweet, Q Nails, Lendmark Financial, Hair Cutter and King Garden in Coyner Park Shopping Center. DRE’s Means, Agnew and Pat Dudley represented the landlord, O’Haver Waynesboro, LLC, in the lease transaction.
