VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced that the company has relocated and expanded with a fifty percent increase in its office space and added 17 new employees in the last six months at its corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach. This growth is the reflection of several new business assignments which include:
- an increase in its portfolio of leased and managed properties by approximately ten percent to 29 million square feet;
- an increase in the amount of leasing, management and acquisition assignments it handles for Armada Hoffler Properties;
- a new assignment to represent the US national expansion for a major European furniture retailer;
- the representation of the Commonwealth of Virginia in its commercial space requirements throughout the state;
- and the growing demands of Divaris’ expanding client base throughout the US.
Divaris Real Estate is now located in custom-built office space on the ninth floor at 4525 Main Street in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. After 32 years on the seventh floor of One Columbus Center, directly across the street from 4525 Main Street, on the corner of Main and Town Center Drive, Divaris Real Estate and Divaris Property Management Corp have expanded to better accommodate its growing staffing requirements.
One Columbus Center is the first office building built in The Town Center of Virginia Beach; 4525 Main Street is the latest office tower to be completed in the City’s Central Business District. Both buildings, along with all of Town Center of Virginia Beach, are leased and managed by Divaris Real Estate and Divaris Property Management Corp.
