(DRE), is pleased to announce that Vivian Turok, Senior Vice President, received the Platinum Commercial Sales and Leasing Achievement Award from the Hampton Roads Commercial Alliance, which is awarded to the top five grossing agents throughout Southeastern Virginia in 2014. Additionally, ten other Divaris Real Estate associates from the Virginia Beach offices have also been recognized.

Divaris 2015 Annual Awards Day

At this year’s annual Divaris Awards Luncheon, we had much to celebrate. “We’ve had many big accomplishments this year at Divaris,” said Gerald Divaris, Divaris Real Estate Chairman/CEO. “We started the State of Virginia Real Estate contract out of the Richmond office, DRE was proud to be named one of the Top Places to Work in Virginia, we celebrated 40 years in business, and we had many employee achievements, including Alex Divaris and Krista Costa’s Inside Business Top 40 Under 40 honor, Brett McNamee’s Chain Store Age National Top 15 National Power Broker’s recognition, and DonnaMarie Morrison CPM Designation,” Gerald added.

DRE Boasts Top Female Leaders in the Commercial Real Estate Field

When women first entered the corporate real estate world in the 1980’s, they had to work hard to establish themselves and prove their capability in a predominately male-dominated sector.  Now, as the playing field is more level, women have formed a strong presence in the market.  Currently, Divaris Real Estate employs many strong female leaders as directors for its Property Management, Lease Administration, Accounting, Human Resources and Marketing Departments. In addition, Divaris has the highest number of women brokers in Hampton Roads, and greatly benefits from all of these female trailblazers.

Annual Divaris Awards Day

Every year Divaris holds its annual luncheon to honor the staff for their hard work throughout the year. Unfortunately Divaris’ Greater D.C. office was snowed-in, but our other offices in Charlotte, Richmond and Newport News made the trip to Virginia Beach, to participate in the festivities and network with each other in person, rather than just over the phone or by email.
