Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina: John M. Knibb, senior vice president and partner of the Chesapeake, Va. office of Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of a temporary lease with Walmart for retail space in Roanoke Rapids’ Becker Village Mall. Becker Village Mall is the only regional mall in Roanoke Rapids’ 145,000-person trade area. Wal-Mart will occupy 45,000 square feet in the former Kmart building at the mall.
