Zaxby’s, Four National Retailers to Join Hampton Roads Crossing

SUFFOLK, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) is pleased to announce the addition of four national retailers and Zaxby’s to Hampton Roads Crossing, a newly developed Kroger Marketplace-anchored shopping center. The 40-acre, mixed-use retail center is located in Suffolk’s Harbour View area, which spans the Suffolk-Portsmouth city lines.

RLB Realty Investment purchased 1.13 acres of land at College Drive and Hampton Roads Crossing, which will be developed into the area’s sixth Zaxby’s location. The national restaurant chain serves fried chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches and other American comfort eats. The transaction was handled on behalf of the seller, Terry/Peterson Investment Thirty, LLC., by Levi Thomson of DRE’s Virginia Beach office.

Levi Thomson, of DRE’s Virginia Beach office handled the following lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, HRC Retail:

Petco, a pet store aimed at delivering services and products to help navigate pet parenthood. The company has more than 1,300 locations across the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico. This store will be 12,500 square feet, to include grooming and dog training.

DSW Shoe Warehouse originated in Dublin, Ohio and has grown to more than 400 stores nationwide. The discount shoe retailer will occupy 12,000 square feet and marks DSW’s fifth location in Hampton Roads. DRE’s Mary McGovern and Sezin Cortinas handled the lease negotiations for the tenant.

ULTA is the largest beauty retailer that provides one-stop shopping for prestige, mass and salon products and salon services in the U.S. McGovern and Cortinas represented the tenant on this transaction.

Five Below offers merchandise $5 and less for teens and pre-teens. This will be the fifth location for the retailer in Hampton Roads, which has leased 7,500 square feet. DRE’s Mary McGovern handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the tenant.
