(DRE), announced the sale of the Lowe’s Virginia Beach West property, to a Virginia Beach-based developer, for $9 million. Eric Bucklew, Vice President of Divaris Real Estate’s Virginia Beach office, represented the seller, Lowe’s Home Center, LLC.

Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced that DRE has been appointed the exclusive leasing and management firm for The Marquis, located at Route 199 and I-64 in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Marquis is a 750,000-square-foot, regional power center. At its completion, The Marquis will be the largest retail development in Williamsburg, featuring specialty retailers and restaurants and several big-box retailers including Target, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy and JCPenney.

King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania: Rochester, New York-based Wegman’s Food Markets, Inc., has broken ground on a 140,000-square-foot grocery supermarket in The Village at Valley Forge in King of Prussia, PA. A lease has also been signed for Next Door Bar & Grill, a restaurant concept owned by Wegman’s Food Markets for 10,000 square feet on an adjacent parcel in the mixed-use development.
